For seniors and people with physical limitations who own and live in their home in Jena and cannot clear the pavement themselves.
Our winter service in Jena is offered exclusively to seniors and people with physical limitations who live in their own home in Jena and the surrounding area. The seasonal care runs from November to March: a monthly standby fee of 19,90 € (5 months, 99,50 € for the full season) covers weather monitoring, dispatch planning and your reserved capacity. Actual clearing and gritting visits are billed separately: 29,90 € for the first 30 minutes, each further started half hour 19,90 €. Grit and travel within the individually confirmed tour area are included. Saturday visits carry a 25% surcharge, Sundays and public holidays 50% – on visit prices only, never on the standby fee.

- Do I pay the standby fee even if no snow falls?
- Yes. The standby fee covers weather monitoring, dispatch planning and the capacity we reserve for you – it is independent of actual snowfall. In return, a snow-free month means no visit costs at all.
- Is JenWatch responsible for damage from ice on the pavement?
- Liability follows the contract we sign; we are business-liability insured for our own faults. The legal duty always remains with the property owner.
